Broadway Bound! Camp

Come join us from July 15-19 for a week-long Musical Theatre camp!  Kids ages 8-15 will work on skills in singing, dancing, and acting, culminating in a showcase at the end of the week.

Cost:  $325 per student.  The second (and subsequent) sibling from the same family receive a $50 discount on registration.

Location:  The Hall of the Kanata Christian Reform Church, 46 Castlefrank Road, Kanata (corner of Stonehaven).

The teachers:

Robin Guy is an actor and teaching artist who has been teaching since 1998. Her work has included choreography for the World Youth Day celebrations at the Civic Centre in 2002, and co-choreography for the first Ottawa Catholic Board musical,” Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. In addition to private coaching, she provides customized workshops in all aspects of drama, movement, and musical theatre and has worked with a variety of schools as a visiting artist since 2001.

Robin works in live theatre, screen, and, voiceover. Recent gigs include critically acclaimed productions of Miss Shakespeare, The Clean House, Crimes of the Heart, Marion Bridge, War of the Worlds, Cyrano de Bergerac, and A Flea in her Ear at The Gladstone and the role of Jacques in Shakespeare’s As You Like It with Bear and Co.  Robin operates her own theatre company, Three Sisters. Other roles include Maria in The Sound of Music, Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
